Accessibility
fried.ai is committed to making our product usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We want everyone to be able to create their album covers, so we design and build with accessibility in mind.
Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the widely recognized benchmark for accessible websites and the standard referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we work to align new features with these guidelines as we build them.
What we do
Steps we take across fried.ai include:
- Meaningful page structure with headings, landmark regions, and a "skip to content" link so keyboard and screen-reader users can navigate quickly.
- Full keyboard operability, with a visible focus indicator and dialogs that trap and restore focus and close with Escape.
- Labels, roles, and status announcements for buttons, form fields, and updates so assistive technology can describe them.
- Text alternatives for images, including descriptions of each album cover.
- Color contrast, resizable text up to 200 percent, and support for the system "reduce motion" setting.
We test with both automated tools and manual review, and we keep working to improve.
Compatibility
fried.ai is designed to work with current versions of major browsers and with common assistive technologies, such as screen readers and voice control. Because fried.ai is a mobile-first web app, we recommend keeping your browser and assistive software up to date.
Tell us about a barrier
If you run into an accessibility barrier or have trouble using any part of fried.ai, please reach out and we will do our best to help and to fix it. You can contact us through the Help option in the Settings menu. Let us know the page or feature, what happened, and the browser or assistive technology you were using so we can look into it.
This statement reflects our current practices and will be updated as fried.ai evolves.
